At the end of last year,
Press Ganey named
Paradise Valley Hospital as a 2010 Top Improver, a recognition given to only 29 facilities throughout the nation. The hospital received the award after showing continuous improvement in patient, physician, or
employee satisfaction.
Paradise Valley Hospital spent the previous two years trying to change the perception of care at the facility. In particular, the hospital was most successful in maintaining consistency among employee education and training, procedures and protocols, patient practices, and strong leadership.

"We have worked very diligently to improve the patient experience at our hospital by providing highly personalized care that emphasizes good communication between caregivers and with the patient, along with information to speed the healing process when our patients go home. Paradise Valley Hospital provides comprehensive acute medical care to residents of the northeast Phoenix area. The 136-bed facility sees about 82,000 patients each year. The hospital employs more than 600 people and 125 volunteers.
Press Ganey works with about 10,000 healthcare facilities across America to provide measurement tools that can improve quality of care and outcomes. Paradise Valley Hospital has worked with the organization since 2006.
