  staffing jobs can be found
Kelly, Adecco, Manpower, AccountTemps. These era just some of the biggest names in the billion dollar staffing business. They are hiring for staffing jobs. Bet on it!

The staffing industry has suffered no doubt in recent years. But things are looking up. According to one expert;

Though companies were cautious about expenses, a majority of solution providers continued to make investments in their company, which is crucial to the future. Only one-third of respondents reported delaying or canceling investments during the recession.

“In a down economy, continued investment is critical to future success,” April said. “Companies that tread water waiting for the recovery to happen will find themselves well behind those competitors that, despite the tough economy, kept putting dollars into exploring new technology offerings and vertical markets and did not stop marketing aggressively.”

While layoffs decimated many sectors of the economy, the majority of solution providers said they avoided staff reductions. More than three quarters (77 percent) reported no staff reductions during the recession.

Staffing agencies are more nimble becasue they have to be. Particularly if they operate in the competitive healthcare or IT sectors.

  Recycling jobs site debuts
Recycling is a major economic development tool as well as an environmental industry. Reuse, recycling, and waste reduction offer direct development opportunities for communities. When collected with skill and care, and upgraded with quality in mind, discarded materials are a local resource that can contribute to local revenue, job creation, business expansion, and the local economic base. Now there is a new site for recycling jobs.

Recycling-based economic development is the heart of the Waste to Wealth program. For three decades, local communities haveprovided technical assistance linking reuse and recycling within the local community and have documented the job creation and value added benefits of reuse and recycling.

On a per-ton basis, sorting and processing recyclables alone sustain 10 times more jobs than landfilling or incineration. However, making new products from the old offers the largest economic pay-off in the recycling loop. New recycling-based manufacturers employ even more people and at higher wages than does sorting recyclables. Some recycling-based paper mills and plastic product manufacturers, for instance, employ on a per-ton basis 60 times more workers than do landfills.
